Works for me in the field.
Comment:
I travel to and from different offices in my company and 2 or three times a month a HDD won't boot or gets heavily virus infected. Before I do anything to even attempt to fix it I always get the data off of it. I have a roaming microatx computer I've built with two pullout drive bays that support SATA and IDE. Inside the box are 2 1TB drives for data storage and 2 500G for day to day work. It's named ''ROADKILL''. This is what I use for the SATA bay. One less key, one less thing to track. It works and saves me time. Dependable. On my home office system when I need to experiment with different OS's or work configurations this is what I use to boot from. Simple brute force. |
I opted to spend a little more than a minimun for a mobile rack. The looks, feel, and features of this product have more than met my expectations. It has a high quality extruded construction, and the plastic front has a quality appearance and tactile feel. Every aspect of it exudes sturdy quality, and it preforms its function with no fuss.
