This is just my experience with the Kinzu after one day of using it.Since many reviews have already pointed out the many strengths of this amazing product, I'll just outline the weaknesses that I, personally, have found and experienced so far.My biggest gripe with the Kinzu is the lift distance. Meaning, you can lift it LITERALLY half a millimetre above whatever surface you are using and the mouse will stutter or stop tracking altogether. This is extremely frustrating as an FPS gamer who plays on a relatively low sensitivity. Wide swipes are necessary to do, for example, 180-degree spins, and if you lift the mouse at any point during that swipe, it'll just stop tracking. I've tested this on a SteelSeries QcK cloth mousepad, as well as a third-party hard surface pad.My second (and last) problem with the Kinzu is that the click actuation point is pretty far down the mouse, towards the front. As a claw-grip gamer, this means that I either have to click twice as hard to shoot, or I have to shift my index and middle finger further down the front of the mouse, turning my claw into a "half claw". It's not a huge deal, but more of a thing that you'll have to get used to if you have a claw-grip like myself.9/10.

This is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. I have a razor death adder that died after 3 months and a 4000dpi Saitek cyborg that doesn't work or feel as good as the kinzu. I am currently placing an order for a second kinzu to game with on my laptop instead of the Saitek cyborg.

I feel that this is one of the best mice i have used. The quality and feel of the mouse is pretty great. This mouse has a rubber mousewheel, rubber top and the bottom of it has very smooth bottom. It tracks very nicely and the wire is nicely braided. This mouse is very good as I have small hands. If you have larger hands, i would suggest either buying the larger version of this mouse: The Kinzu. If you have large hands and like claw grip, this mouse is very nice. Overall, this mouse is very durable and comfortable.

Do not get this product if you have large hands like me. Steelseries has high built quality and the mouse feels like that, but the sensor is absolutely terrible. It wont even track on my QCK pad. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-02-11 04:05 PM

Had the mouse for a couple months. Initially everything was fine. Recently I've started having some problems.I'm not sure how, but at some point the Steelseries driver basically stopped working. Normally the CPI switch is supposed to toggle between the two settings you have selected in the software. Mine stopped working, and the button magically decided it would cycle between all four mouse speeds.At the same time, I started noticing performance issues. The mouse would stutter or stall seemingly randomly. I initially thought it might be due to dust/etc on the lens, but after cleaning it the problems remained. I thought it might be an issue with my USB, but plugging in my old Logitech G5 again (I switched because I prefer the Kinzu shape and size), the problems all went away.Mouse has built in acceleration. Good if you like acceleration, bad if you don't.I find the standard mouse feet don't slide very well on my cloth pads (OCZ Goliath or Steelseries Heavy). It's night and day with my stock-foooted G5, and the G5 is leagues ahead.The Kinzu defaults to a quite low lift-off distance (distance from the surface where it stops tracking). I'm not sure whether or not this has contributed to some of the problems I experienced or not.

I've read review here saying this mouse had issues, but as of now I didn't have any. Maybe the new drivers fixed those issues people were having? Anyway I'm totally happy with it!This is a great mouse imho, way better than your normal Dell, MS or Logitech mouse. Highly recommended.
