I bought these for 50$ I would of never paid 149 for these earbuds, but considering the price and my situation where I needed earbuds for this winter, it was an acceptable purchase. These are very GENERIC earbuds the quality is really not that great. Buttons are misplaced the wire design is horrible. |

Cons:Fatal flaws in cord design - non-symmetrical wire length (from each ear) means that the short side is constantly being pulled by the weight of the cord extender and mute button, and it feels like the Right earbud is always in danger of being pulled out.Cord is really short with the idea being that you can mount your music player on your arm and not have excessive wire hanging down. Problem is, if you are NOT using an armband, you need to use the extension cable - and the connector adds to the weight already pulling on the right earbud. It seems nobody at Koss actually wore these before putting them on the market because the flaws are obvious as soon as you go anywhere with them on.

A whole lot of stupid went into this cord design, and explains why these $150 earbuds were marked down to $50 in the sale I bought them from. The mute button and cable extender hop up down on your chest as you walk along. And the noise that makes is transmitted along the wire right into your ear. Thump, thump, thump.These earbuds are fine for everything and sound great - so long as you're not actually moving. If the sound wasn't so good, these would only get a single star for the what-were-they-thinking cord design. |
picked these up on a 50$ surprise special because i needed some for work, they have the goofy design where one earbud cord is longer than the other, and the cord length is too long to be useful or, if you unattach it, it is too short for anything at all. ended up getting some skull candy ICONs
