This unit would not play vidio with any software that I tried on the computer that I bought it for, so I had to put in in another computer to get it to work, same software, windows and linux.

The Burner was sent and received in just a few days. I have already burned dvds with the drive with great results. Have had no problems burning dvds. My only complaint is in the questions section. The nero software that was suppose to come with this drive though was not on the cd. The power tools all had to be upgraded with a price to even work. There are lg software on the cd though. Luckily I have nero 9 and 10 so did not need any software. I would definately shop again at this site again.

tray seems a bit weak and from the reading of a disc to the write cycle seems a bit long for this unit. I am impressed with its capabilities for the money I spent on the unit though as one could have also got the blueray option for more $$

This is every thing I had expected. Works great, perform's great. I love it! My brother is jealous. I got the last one they had. He's the one that told me how good it is. It was priced great too! It's so cool, to have something capable of scribing. Great idea!

Shipping right on time and fast. Installed and worked the first time. Thought my program was a little slow but it was my writer. This unit works about 30% faster. A great buy.

I thought it was sata, but thats my fault, its a fast reader/writer but I was under the impression that lightscribe did colour, but nope, again... my fault. All in all, good deal.

thought i ordered a SATA, it was IDE. my fault. works well, just a little slower than the SATA version.

Took less than 5 minutes to install and have up and running. Does everything it is supposed to quickly and very quietly. Great drive for the price. Only thing that could be better, is the disc tray when open is a little flimsy, could be made much stronger. Other than that, no complaints here.

its a great product for a low price, does its job well and i'm very satisfied with this purchase, the nero software that came with it works and its great, my only problem is when i used the lightscribe on a disk, the words were a all jumbled up, no biggie, probobly wont use it anyways.
