Ordered this monitor for a new employee who is a designer, photographer and video editor. After reading the Anandtech review, I was very impressed and thought I'd give it a go. For those of you who are familiar with the article, I can confirm that on Sep 27 I received the 1.63 / July 2013 revision of the monitor, far beyond the 1.25 / Feb 2013 that AT reviewed. You should be safe now. Let me tell you, this is an amazing unit that is built with quality and great design all around. From the super-thin bezel, to the polished metal stand, to the beautiful OSD menu with sound, this was designed by somebody who knew what they were doing. Color accuracy and quality is one of the main reasons I chose it, as well as the unique resolution which is ideal for video editing and multitasking. The split-screen functionality is also very handy for running multiple video sources (e.g. a Blu-ray player output.) Overall a top quality product, you won't be dissappointed. Worth every penny.Aside from the product being great, I have to share my story dealing with NCIX to get this in my hands. I originally ordered the Nixeus Vue27 27" IPS 2560x1440 monitor. Like a few other people I've discovered, it arrived DOA. That unit isn't built super well (but it's reflected the the price, I guess.) Anyway... I emailed my rep here (we have a business account), and MAN did they crank this out to solve my problem. They phoned me within minutes, confirmed what I wanted for a replacement, and had this new monitor shipped out express to me the same day. It arrived two days after I called them! Not only that, but they gave me an account number so I could ship the old unit back to them at no charge. I've seen a wide range of service, and online you'd typically expect it to be worse than the stores. The service I received to resolve my issue was better than most stores I've went to. You're in good hands with NCIX!
