This unit is a great blu-ray disc writer. It does what you expect out of it. I haven't had any problems using it. Not too much noise, just normal. And its fast.I would recommend it, its a good choice. I also watch BD movies with it and it does a good job. |

Nice burner for the price, especially if price matched. Includes Lightscribe, and Cyberlink software. The only downside is not all software is "full" version, but works just fine. Had to do a firmware upgrade in order to get it to work properly. Included LG toolkit does this automatic and seamless. |

After having hundreds of GBs worth of information building up on my hard drives over the past couple of years, I decided it was time to burn everything to clear up space. 4.7 GBs at a time just wasn't cutting it. I purchased some of the Optodisk 25GB disks for backup purposes.So far, the drive has been great. I've used a few of them and have had no issues. I've also burnt a few Lightscribe DVD's and used the Lightscribe feature - no issues.I would purchase this drive again, and would definitely recommend it.As for the software not being a full version, it still does everything you need it to do as it is, so that is not a worry. Besides, there are enough free utilities out there if you don't want to deal with the packaged software. |

There's not alot to say regarding this optical drive. It's quiet when in operation. I've burned a few regular DVDs and a couple Blu-Rays and it's worked fine. The added software and the free Blu-Ray disc is an added bonus. |

Il n'y a plus aucune raison d'hésiter à faire le pas vers le Blu-Ray à présent. Le lecteur est beau, semble de bonne qualité et le bouton d'éjection est très discret. Got this about 8 months ago, so far it's been very reliable. I've only made about 25 discs with it but they have all turned out excellent. I paid about $180 at the time and since then the price has dropped significantly to make it more reasonable. |

I decided I would get a bluray writer once they were at a reasonable price. Now the time has come and I have gotten this one. The disks are approximately $2 each so write fails are costly with this drive. However, it seems to do a really good job at making no mistakes in burning disks. |

I ordered this drive, then swapped it out for another that was on sale at the time. Would have been happy with this drive, but new one was slightly faster.
