Cons:
USB limits speed, but of course it does. Sometimes eject button won't work if application is open.
Pros: Reliable, easy setup, works with Encore CS4 on OSX 10.5.8. No problems or coasters yet, has made 20 error-free discs so far on BD=RE and BD-R single-layer media. |
No complaints, it's been very reliable out of the box with no firmware changes. Using it to burn single layer video Blu-Rays from H264 QT's on Encore CS4. Using Memorex BD-RE discs and Optodisc 4x white label BD-R's. Had one disc-related error with the Memorex BD-RE's that was fixed easily by ejecting the disc and closing the tray. Haven't tried dual-layer discs yet.Not the speediest over USB- if I were needing to produce under a deadline, I'd go with an internal recorder under PC. Recording might be...2x faster that way?
