I got this item on sale at NCIX for $19.99 and it is awesome. I have used it on more than a dozen different computers. Laptops and Desktops xp/vista/windows 7 and even windows 8 - all recognized it right away. The dual usb dongle ensure enough power to burn/ play videos ect. However it does run on just one port if needed. It also comes with burning software if you require it. A great product. I have had no problems at all!
