Unfortunately my display had a piece of dust lodged between the display and lcd on the left side. Over the 3 months of ownership, it has slid from the top left to the center left. This is an isolated case as the other IPS234 I used didn't have this. The color calibration was off but using the TEXT calibration is good for daily use. The stand is ok for a sturdy table, which mine is... so I don't have the problem some other reviewers had.

I received this monitor and the first thing I noticed was that the brightness was insane. If you left this monitor at stock your eyeballs would fall out. While this highlights how great the whites are, it also is painful to use straight out of the box.I received no dead pixels but did have slight back light bleeding towards the left hand corner. Overall the colours are great on this monitor but need to be calibrated for any real colour work as with any monitor. The screen shows fairly good uniformity. The main downfalls of this monitor are that it is a 6 bit IPS panel, rather than an 8 bit. Equally the monitor is very basic, with the stand having no adjustable height or rotate functions. The response rate is good on this monitor, and NCIX lists this value incorrectly as the manufacturer states it is 5 ms, not 14 ms (which is great).On sale this is a great buy, however don't expect to be getting a DELL or ASUS quality monitor with all the height adjustment bells and whistles. You pay for these features and the reason this monitor is so cheap is that while it is an excellent panel it lacks these comfort features.

This is my first IPS monitor and it makes my old TN LCD's look very, very dim. It has very slight colour shift, but not apparent until you essentially turn it sideways. Bright and even lit display (no bleeding of back light nor bright/dim areas).The stand is all plastic and it does wobble a bit. However my desk is an extremely wobbly antique. Yet, I can push hard my desk by a few inches without concern for my monitor falling. So the overall stability is effectively the same as a metal base. It's a cost saving design and is totally fine in my view. For $139.99 it's a good, budget IPS.

For 130$, this is an excellent deal. No ghosting, no input lag. Uniformity of the screen is excellent not the best nor the worst. My lower right side is bit too bright. Contrast is bit weak is you set the screen at max brightness. Need calibration for maximum contrast. Colors looks good by default. Overall that's an excellent monitor.I would like thinner bezel, while this one is correct, If you plan on Multi-screen setup 0.5cm might be much better this bezel is about 1.3cm Would buy again at that price. At full price (209$), there's better deal to do.

Got this during the Christmas/Boxing Week Sale. For its price, I think the quality is superb. Viewing angles were good and the colour was great, but calibration definitely seems to be needed. Overall, a great product!

Its a great monitor to get on sale. First IPS monitor and am enjoying it the whites are exactly blinding and the darks are nice and rich. Though you will need to callibrate the screen through the windows program or you wont be using it to its full potential. However its kinda dissapointing that the stand is a little flimsy and the screen tends to shake a bit. Otherwise a good product.

I can't believe this monitor only came with a D-sub VGA cable. No digital cable ?? Come on. The power supply also seems to be integrated into the plug, so this thing takes up major real estate on your power bar.Aside from the above, the panel seems to be decent quality.
