LG N194WA-BF 18.5IN Widescreen Network LCD Monitor 1440X900 5ms 5M:1 DVI VGA 4XUSB Speakers
Cons:See summary.
Pros:Runs stable. Comment:
1440x900 resolution ends up with cursor moving off the screen, indicating the screen size isn't properly proportioned to the advertised resolution. Colors mediocre (same quality as basic office desktop screen). Limited to 60hz. |
You will pay about 120$, I paid mine 90$ open-box.You wont get a gaming screen, no... really not. But, for those who need a second pc in their lab like me without the noise of a server, and a screen for a oscilloscope.. this is a neat great gadget. It has actually a NComputing L300 onboard or similar / detected as Device ID 300, L-series with a custom install of Vspace for Server 2008 x64, yes 64-bit; just throw the LG cd away and download newest VSpace. Compatibility issues may be, but for text editing, image viewing, web browsing, music listening from your server... no hd movies, but this would be nosense anyways. This is great. That being said, the L300 on its own is about 210$ anyways; now you get a LCD with it for half price, how bout that? ohh and I forgot, dont buy this for the screen quality, yes you might end up deceived trying gaming, this is a research/education/business solution.
