LIAN LI PC-8FIB Black Computer Case
Cons:- Not much space for a top exhaust fan. It really depends on the size of your CPU cooler. I discovered I didn't need one though.
Pros:- Excellent build quality.- Lightweight aluminum.- No tools needed.- Decent dust filters.- Front eSATA & USB 3.0 ports.- Lot's of room inside.- It's easy to hide cables.- Provision for water cooling.- Good price for being a Lian Li. |

Cons:Two front fans make a little noise but below bothering level.
Pros:Very good quality, No tools are required, pretty light weight since it is an aluminum chassis! Comment:
First time to use this Lian Li chassis and I was very happy with its built quality and finishing. No sharp edges that made absolutely no scratch on my hand 'til completing installation. 2 front fans and 1 rear fan do great job on cooling and I cannot say it is very quiet level. Mine has 5 of int. 3.5" drives with DVD-drive, etc. but it is still very light than other steel base cases and very solid. The case style is a bit boring but I chose this for quality. |
I purchased this case from NCIX on August 27, 2010, and put an ASUS P7P55D-E Pro motherboard, Intel 875K with Corsair A70 cooler, one SSD drive, two WD Green HDD's, Seasonic X650 PSU, LG Bluray drive, and one Nvidia 460GTX card in it. I had no trouble installing everything and all cables reached without any trouble. This case may not be fancy in the eyes of some folks, but it's quality definitely can't be beat. Airflow is perfect and everything stays nice and cool, even when running Prime 95. The dust filters (two in front, one at bottom) don't block much air which is a good thing, but it means they also don't block much dust. They do a great job blocking pet hair though which is the more important of the two IMHO. I like this case so much that I'm going to keep it for my next build, which I'm putting together right now (Z77 board, Intel 3750K, a second SSD for RAID-0, and three or four 7200 RPM hard drives replacing the two WD Green ones). The tool-less design is 100% perfect and honestly couldn't be improved on, great if you're the type of enthusiast who swaps parts often. It truly is excellently built too, and very sturdy for being made of aluminum. I don't think it would be easy to wear any of it's mechanical parts out either. Hands down the best case I've ever owned (it's my eighth).
