I'm really happy I picked this up. This lets my new machines with gigabit ethernet finally have another fast machine to network with Great solution for upgrading that old PC in the corner for backup storage, etc. |
I bought this card to upgrade my HTPC for media transfers and it did the job quite well. One thing to note is that this did not come with a half-height bracket, which limits the cases it could be installed in. Luckily, my HTPC case uses a right angle riser for PCI cards, so it installed fine and is running like a charm at gigabit speeds.
