This is a great unit for VOIP phone service. It seems a little light weight and may benefit from some ballast to keep it from sliding off the table or shelf when stretching out the handset cord. Wish it came with power supply though. I really like that it it accepts a corded head set and gives option of speaker phone. It also allows easy one button muting.Hope durability is not an issue. |
This is a great phone. I use it with my Asterisk PBX server. It's compliant with all the basic features. However, you cannot use this phone for "paging" in an Asterisk system. You have to use other brands such as Polycom that support it. If I had the choice between this phone and the Polycom, I'd probably go with the Polycom which seem more robust and functional. The Web interface of that phone is adequate and gives you control on the basic and advanced features. Good product for home and small office.
