Standard LiteOn create good quality not the finest, but they have very good costs and it functions nicely. Put it in a tiny Shuttle XS35. I love it. Would get a lot more. Price tag? I would recommended and even purchase once again. Functions as intended.

Excellent Drive...effortless set upSounds good and runs awesome Only smaller setback was that I had to take away the tray cover and install the laptop cover...it would fit otherwise...absolutely nothing horrible just annoying Operates good and thats all that matter...cost is very good and newegg got it to me quickly.

Very first drive, I had to return to newegg for replacement. The eject button wouldnt perform. Newegg MESSED up and didnt send me a replacement drive. SO i had to order yet another one. They refunded me the funds instead of sending the drive ( which was clearly stated on the rma ). There error. SO i purchased yet another one. Same Situation Once more. DRIVE WILL NOT EJECT. You push the button and absolutely nothing takes place. Newegg promised to refund the shipping that I had to pay back to them. I sent the e-mail to the individual that I talked with. Never ever recieved the refund on shipping. SO a month has gone by now, and I nonetheless do not have a working drive. Thanks Newegg, and thanks lite-on for generating such a wonderful item. Purchaser beware!!! Dosnt work. 2nd drive now with eject issue. It's a DVD drive.Supposed to play CD's too.It appears to read and play a DVD okay, if you can get the DVD in.Otherwise read the Cons. The open door button on its face doesn't work.With computer powered ON, no amount of pressing, holding or plain jiggling will get the DVD drive door to open.The only way to get the DVD drive door to open isɅ.
