i put this tube in my orion subwoooofer box. it tends to make the man in my trunk stand out so much now. this is pretty powerful due to the fact it handles lots of bass when im bangin pac and dre.. wish it came with like ten separate tubes lol

Really straightforward to install, velcro pieces allow you to stick the cathode light kit anywhere in your case at any angle. You can plug in an further cathode light tube into the controller device that regulates the sound activation function (I'm no electrical pro so I don't know what they call them) so I could have to go get myself one more cathode light for double the action! It's actually entertaining to watch my laptop or computer case light up to the beat of my music or whenever I open up with my assault rifle on Contact of Duty. The entire kit was in a modest plastic case that measured around 1.five" x 1.5" x 15" Practically doubled the price tag of my acquire. Makes a client cry out in despair, "Why Newegg...? WHY???" Super vibrant, sound activation, pci on off switch. sound activation module needs to be really close to the speaker or you require the volume cranked up. The pci switch has a nob on it that alls you to adjust the sound freqency the light blinks to, either it be bass or vocals, you decide on.

Quite simple to install, even though the included velcro kind of sucks. Way brighter than I believed it was going to be which is a huge plus. none The sound activated thing works but it isn't at all obvious that the lights flash in concert with any music that I could be playing. Due to the fact my speakers are a little strategies away from the computer system I have to turn the sensitivity way up and even the littlest noises, non-music related, will trip the issue off. Easy to operate The sensitivity manage does not appear to make significantly difference when turned up or down.Would prefer it to recognize only lower range for bass activation. Or perhaps a manage for this. The clear box is pretty uncomplicated to get rid of allowing you to plac a thin board into a speaker with modification to the speaker. I program on undertaking this to a bass speaker (and hopefully place it inside my case) for a much more clean look and sound.

It's bright, comes with good velcro for mounting and long enough cables to route nicely in mid and little cases.The way it operates, you have a bracket that screws into the expansion plates in the back. Has a nice knob and switch that controls whether you want the light on, off, or sound activated. And boy, that light is vibrant.The bracket has a wire that connects to the sound activation unit, which has adhesive and velcro to fasten inside your case.This connects to the light itself. The good component about the unit is it has a plug in it to let for a second light must you wish to have two. It's a good style if you ask me. Nicely, nothing is best... I'm quite satisfied with the light, but the very first factor that surprised me was its length. 15 inches is long, I knew this, but I didn't seriously assume of how long it would be in terms of my case. I had a location to mount it just fine, but located it harder than I was expecting. For some situations, 15 inches would be impossible to mount.The cabling for the device is a tiny... lacking. Not in length, but in protection. I could see the cables obtaining kinked or stressed in the course of routing. I wish they had had some sort of superior casing for the cables.I don't know about other individuals's encounter, but when I have the sound activation on, I have to have my subwoofer proper next to my case for it to register. vibrant this factor kept shutting down my computer. it would work if i maintain it in the on switch. its when i move the switch to off or sound activition mode that i would shut off my pc. read someplace that these issues give off a present that make your fans go crazy so its undertaking a thing to my pc.

Nicely I purchased two of these and they function fantastic, I adore the color it puts out and it makes any case stand out. The switch will allow you to have it generally on or sound activated. Well Installing was a tiny tricky although operating Sli, but I managed. Took about 5 minutes. Would advocate to somebody who desires a more illuminated computer system case. Looks Excellent!

Vibrant, sound reactivity functions nicely sufficient. This broke in much less than a week. This morning I went to turn it on and only about 25% of the tube dimly lit up and made a sound comparable to arcing electricity (which is in all probability what it was, given that it runs at high voltage). Would accept a replacement, but with as low cost as it is I could buy a new 1 for the same as the shipping fees.

Its sound activated and blue You do need to have your subwoofer close to get a really nice impact. But no cause to knock an egg off its nonetheless amazing! Cables could simply be longer. I advise this to everyone. I will most most likely buy another one to throw on the top rated of my case.

I have an Xclio Windtunnel case with a bunch of blue lights and I decided to add this one to my collection. The sound activation is wonderful. Properly..it WAS excellent. It quit working entirely immediately after the very first song I played to test it. Not sure what occurred. On any sensitivity, I had no blinking..not even if I clapped my hands correct beside it. Newegg is sending me a replacement totally free of charge, which is great! Greatest phone support I've ever had to use. Much less than ten minutes such as wait times and I have a replacement on the way at no price to me. Thanks a lot, Newegg!

it does what it is supposed to and is decently bright. -sound activation doesnt respond like i wish it would.-It will shock you incredibly badly. ****DONT Touch the inverter output plugs even though it is pluged in or your computer is on. I was trying to grab a wire and i touched it. it does not really feel fantastic.

have this child paired up with a different 12" CCFL and they work harmoniously together. receiving the mic in the box to choose up sounds better. need longer cords. but hey... for the cost, its very good! put this 15" on the bottom, and the 12" on the best of my Xion Onyx case. i discovered that intergalactic by beastie boys produced the lights go fairly very good. its entertaining to just clap your hands or yell or whatever, or even fart into it and watch them go off.
