Bought two of these. Every single 1 comes with a sound controller, and you can hook two up to the sound controller so now have an added for purchasing more that don't come with sound controllers. Pretty bright, if you have the sensitivity and volume set to the right levels you can have these matching up perfectly with your music. Also have a switch to leave them on with no sound activation, or to turn them off very nice. The controller has a blue led in it, which isn't a big deal but my create is mainly red LEDs, minus these two cathodes two light up my side window. Other than that, none. can't wait till i get my Logitech G51 sound system and some much more of these cathodes :D

nice and bright to not worth buying for your computer i got three mounted 2 on the top of my speaker i stripped the wire and put it via the plus and negative and even a little sound effectively make it light up a bit and i hooked the other one identical way and the 3rd on i mounted it under my television stand so when i have my surround sond on it goes with the sound effects and i can see my movie collection in the dark

very bright and incredibly vibrant blue really long as well and not at a bad cost and with the sound it is good not the lights fault by my power supply just barley rean my pc as is but with the light the light didnt work but new power supply jumped up to a 950 watt so now every thing works just fine

Really great searching light. Impress your pals! None Having just one of these on the bottom of my case definitely lights it up in the dark but i should have bought 2 so i can enjoy it all day.

I had this for about a week and it looked wonderful and when i played my music the pulsing light was a nice impact. At the finish of a week one of pins was ingested by the molex and half the light went out Not worth the trouble

This is a incredibly bright cathode light. Bought two to hook up to the Zalman mfc-1 and had to mod them (the molex) a little bit in order to hook them up to 1 of the 12V rail switches. They add a nice touch to the outside doors/flaps on the Thermaltake Armor+ Case. The wires attached directly to the cathode are a tad bit short, but I managed. Don't know how the sound activation stuff works yet or how i am going to stay away from the noise of 5 fans.. :P

i don't no cuz it came broken the long stick component was in two parts Beware its going to burn u if u put your fingers near the two pin component my fingers had been next to it and i got hurt it burnt my thumb now it smells like roast chicken not worth it get soothing else thats stronger but newegg is still a great web page to get pc parts

Fantastic sound reception but requirements tweaking for each and every song. May possibly be much better close to a sub woofer I had to extend the wire to the inverter so i could get the mic to a speaker to get the finest results.

Excellent. It works only at full tilt for me. Have it without having sound activation only when I'm not listening to music, trigger it can get a bit distracting due to the fact my desk is produced of glass, and since there's a 200mm fan on the best, the light can definitely travel across the room. Not significantly to it actually... wonderful for bragging rights, other than that, it does its job, nothing else spectacular. Takes a lot for the sound from the bass to get to the sound activation which is only 1 foot apart. I believe it's the sound of the fans, or the thickness of my Antec 1200 case that might affect this. Wish cables had been less difficult to hide from the view - especially given that one of them is white, and a lot of my hardware components are black, so it's type of hard to hide. Wish cables were longer so you could reroute it by means of somewhere else. Last resort would be to paint it black or some thing, but nobody wants to do that anyway. Thought it came with two lights, that's my fault though. I placed it in the empty tough drive cage so it wouldn't be visible, but tough for the sound to get recieved. Not sure where else to spot it. Hoping to add a UV light to this.

Its bright blue and goes to sound. None seriously. I Velcroed the sound box to the back of my case and it works greater.

Quite bright and looks superior with my Antec 900. The sound module is a small bit unstable. At 1st boot, every thing works fine and it picks up any sounds. Then I restarted and I the sound box doesn't function anymore. I attempted adjusting the sensitivity and it doesn't pick up any sounds. Very good factor I bought two of these and replace the sound module with the other one and it works...for now.

-Looks incredibly cool.-Sound activation w/ setting for steady on, sound, or off.-Responsive and accurate sound module.-Sensitivity knob in PCI expansion slot.-Quite lengthy.-Alternatives for dual lights on one module.-Inexpensive. -Slightly affordable construction, but hey, its like 7 dollars for some sweet PC bling.-I would rather have double sided adhesive rather of velcro, but it works fine.-When unplugging the tube from the module, 1 of the little wires came out. Before I freaked out, I lined up the holes and it plugged right back in. In all probability a common challenge simply because they are so little when plugged into the sound module. I've heard of some problems with longevity. I only program on turning this thing on when I'm blasting some music or showing off my case.Overall a great product. Logysis is a terrific choice for affordable, quality case lighting and I will return when I really feel my case requirements to be noticed from mars rather than the moon. :P

It makes my rooms looks very nice.I would recommand to nayone who likes flashy points. I wonder how lengthy it will last. At the price, I can't complain !JUST Get IT.

Looks nice. Sound reactivity. PCI slot setting adjuster: On/Sound/Off with sound sensitivity potentiometer. I bought two of these. One doesn't function--it only lights up 75%. The remaining 25% of the tube is not lit up at all. Both units make a high-pitched humming noise. Sound reactivity is not that wonderful.
