Compared to the cold cathode versions, this gives a much more focused and longer throw light. With UV green and blue components the effect is powerful and stunning. With UV red it's also quite strong, but with a slightly more magenta tint to it. So far only with UV orange is the effect slightly less than a regular CCFL UV light, but I'm using red and green in my build anyway. I still don't understand why UV is not as popular as it used to be. Black light stuff is awesome.
