Operates just fine out of the box. Extremely noisy. Can hear it down the hall from the computer system space. Read the reviews and specs for level of noise ahead of buying. I know I did when I ordered a distinct supply last night to replace this 1. I guess I have a spare.

CheapSturdy2 fanssheathinglots of molex connectors none I've been operating this sucker in my pc for over two years now. It's been handed a dual core processor with an 8800GTS and run like butter. Upgraded the pc to quad core and a 5770..same factor. By no means had an concern with my PSU.

fantastic power for a wonderful cost. Really trustworthy. wish it had more sata energy connections, but adapter cables are low-cost got this immediately after a friend told me he's had no concerns with his two years into it and I know he stresses his out. Superior efficiency than quite a few priced three times as considerably.

This is a wonderful selection. no longer able to preserve up to par with newer GPU's Ive had 2 of these for four years, each still run fantastic, I am going to have to replace one to keep up with newer graphics cards, lets face it, 25A on იV rail is no longer sufficient. but I just bought a GTX460 OC Video Card, and is still just barely enough to fun at full capacity.

Remarkable for the cost I bout this PSU more than a year ago and the pc has been on for weeks at a time will no difficulties what so ever. This is a very excellent PSU and I am quite pleased with what i purchased. If any person is lookin for a great bargin choose this up. It effortlessly powered my intel dual core a GTX 270 and 4 Gigs of ddr2 Ram ideal for a low budget program. Obtain this PSU you will not regret it at all. Used it for an HTPC create and this is not actually loud. The CPU fan was louder than this. Braided lines are wonderful and keeps every thing good and clean. Dual fans maintain temp low. none. I bought 1 3 years ago and nonetheless running fantastic. Bought a different one for an HTPC construct and no difficulties at all.

I like that it has two fans, one on the bottom of the unit and one for out the back. Has all the connectors I want. Really loud!! Beginning to fail? see below. Right after 6 months I am starting to have intermittent "buzzing" from 1 of the fans, which makes me worry that someday soon the fan may possibly fail. I'm going to go ahead and replace the unit.

None at all. The power rating is way over rated. Out the box it could not energy a 9800gt. Kept finding a power too low warning. I liked it till it could not run the video card. I wasn't expecting a lot for inexpensive but at least what the specs stated would have worked.

Worked fantastic for 1 week. Installed simply. One week later I'm back to getting a personal computer with no energy supply. I would say this is a case of obtaining what you pay for except that I would expect it to run for about a year for what I paid for it.

Cheap It died in just 2 days. Was supplying power to 1HDD,AMD Phenom II,GTX 460,2gb x2 G.Skill memory untill it died. when i turned the machine on oneday, it suddenly would not boot. it would energy on for like 1 second possibly 2seconds and pwower down again. i put a back up PSU and it powers on once more. This item is total garbage. you may possibly think about byuing it if you are builidng a office purpose computer without having fancy graphic cards, but you ought to stay away from this product if u r creating a gaming machine.

Many connectors, SLI prepared, worked proper out of the box. I don't think it is that noisy. You have to expect far more noise with a two fan set up. none at this point in time. I have spent more for a comparable power supply. This surely met my want for a replacement energy supply although priced incredibly reasonable. Once more Newegg provided fast delivery.

Had this guy for over a year now, and it's nonetheless working! I may possibly have gotten lucky with this PSU, getting so inexpensive and all. Does appear to get a bit hot, the two fans are rather little and don't pass as much air about as I would like. Also, cables are a bit brief. Running on this is a Phenom 920, 9600gt, 4 1 gig sicks of ddr2 800mhz G.skill ram, WD Caviar Black AALS 640GB, 3 usb peripherals, and a network card.

It works so long as you don't touch the power cord! Feels very inexpensive, if you jiggle the power cord it shuts off! I bought this power supply for a budget build, so i can't say that i was expecting a great deal.............just greater.

It worked for about 3 months It broke after 3 months. Turned on my comp one day and saw a small flash come from the back of my comp. That was the sight of a low cost power supply taking it's last breath.
