A very strong and stable performer for parity RAID, five months straight of 24/7 in-production operation using consumer-grade Hitachi 7200RPM 1TB drives and nary a hiccup so far. Pairing it with a BBU also gives me the confidence to say that without having to knock on wood.If there's a knock on this adapter, it's that it is a bit sluggish with RAID0 or RAID1. That's okay - since there are cheaper, better options for non-parity RAID.OROM is clunky, but then again - which one isn't? It's intuitive enough to get the job done, though.
