Pretty early to report on the robustness of this drive.However, in case anyone is interested, I successfully connected this drive to my Shaw Gateway box as a PVR expander. I just followed the directions from the Shaw website, https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-1049#solution1. The Gateway detected the drive, and prompted to format it, which took about 10 minutes. (I had previously formatted it with one large NTFS partition.)After about 30 minutes, everything sync'd up, and the new increased free space was reported by the Gateway.
