This is by far the best notebook I have ever owned. I have had everything from top of the line Asus i7 Quad, to Toshiba AMD 10, and nothing compares to this Lenovo Thinkpad. If you want a notebook for business, forget the other "crap" out there because that's exactly what it is. THIS is a REAL computer for REAL WORK! Insanely fast HD, loads of high res photos load in a snap in multiple folders, the night light lets you work with documents and type at night or on the airplane with ease. The keyboard is far better then anything you'll find on a MacBook pro or elsewhere. I was totally blow away by the 3 year warranty with 1 year batter! Also you can upgrade the battery with add on 9Cell unit. Also you can take the DVD drive out in seconds and throw in second HD with an adapter! The screen is matte with 1600 x 900 resolution. Yes it looks old, and sure USB 3.0 will be missed, but I ran an OLD external HD through the e-sata port at 32MB/second... not bad!!!This has no HDMI, but has a display port for high end projectors. Again, this is all work monster for an amazing price that beast everything else in the market as far as I am concerned. If you need gaming, look elsewhere, but for everything else, this is it!
