Great in a server build
Comment:
Software found it quickly and with gbs routers one can use 1000gbs speed. It is used to replace a slower onboard 10-100 adapter. Works Great! |

Good Value

Had a customer who's on-board LAN went out. This retailer got this device to me quick (you know how people are when they're dependent on the internet) and it installed easily enough. She has been using this device for several months now and has had no problems. She claims her internet is faster now, granted she had a 100 MBit on-board... You can't got wrong with Linksys |

I had one of my computers Nic on the mother board go Kaput, so while I was ordering one for it , I ordered another for my other machine. I ordered this particular one for the Gigabit capability with an eye toward the future. Both work Great. |

It works in Linux

I plugged it in. OpenSuse had a kernel modules for it. It worked. I didn't bother running benchmarks or anything. I have a Gigabit hub and the transfer rates were really fast. |

Flawless

I lost my on board conection thanks to mother nature. Lightning killed it. This was a true plug and play. Put it in...it soon was identified by windows....and I'm up and running again. No hassel...no fuss.... |

Works great

It took several tries to get it installed correctly. Once it was installed it worked great. I have 3 computers with gigabit cards and now a gigabit switch also. It's nice to have quick transfer speeds. |

Great Deal
Comment:
Product works great with Windows 2003 server, Windows 7 and Vista. Drivers were found instantly as they are the Reltek chipset. Description states great for servers. Does not work with ESXi 3.5 as it is not an OEM within the compatibility matrix and there is no way to load the driver for it. Product has minimal support for Linux systems. Speed is great when using with Windows systems. Vista 64 bit is supported and runs well on workstations. iSCSI traffic works well without having to change the defaults. |

Linkskey LKG-6100 Network Adapter - PCI, 10/100/1000 Gigabit
Comment:
Plugged it in and it worked. Been using the card for a couple weeks with a new Gigabit router and have had no issues. For the price you cant beat it. I installed the card on an XP Pro machine so I havent tested it in Vista. |
XP Pro lost my ethernet driver. Lacking internet connection made Windows unable to find the correct driver or the motherboard-mounted circuit card was toast. Ordered this adapter and problems are over. Good price and quick deliver. Thanks!
