I have used older model dLink, Linksys and freebie Siemens garbage from Telus; all needed frequented reboots from hangs. Slotted in an E1200 and hasn't needed any reboot for a whole week. Wifi performance feels as stable as a tank. This is the best basic router I ever bought. If you want the best speed and range you may want a more expensive model, but for an apartment and Internet sharing this model may be all you need. Very highly recommended especially when on sale. |

Purchased for separate network. Cisco firmware takes a while to load, but for casual users very easy to set up and use. Basic tweaks also easy to deal with.10/100 LAN looking a bit old these days, but if you aren't streaming or doing anything complex this will work just fine. Good value on sale. |
