Linksys SE2800-CA Etherfast Desktop 10/100/1000 8 Port Unmanaged QoS GbE Switch
Cons:Nothing
Pros:Works well, Looks good Comment:
Since everything is online now from video game consoles to TVs and DVD players a 4 port router just isn't enough. This switch works well and allows me to connect everything I need to. It looks great with a simple matte black top and grey bottom with small feet for adequate ventilation. I got it for $47 on sale. |

Linksys SE2800-CA Etherfast Desktop 10/100/1000 8 Port Unmanaged QoS GbE Switch
Cons:no lights in the front
Pros:Easy setup, swapped right out Comment:
I unplugged my trendnet 8port and swapped this in. No concerns at all, all devices worked without a hitch. No lights on the front though which i liked with the trendnet, it help you see if you have a gigbit connection or not. The lights are located in the back. |
Bought this to extend my network, to include blu-ray player and TV (for firmware updates), along with media server, and other stuff. It will be hidden somewhere deep in the house, so looks was not important. However, it is good looking. Just like the recent routers from Cisco (Linksys), this cannot be stacked, like the previous models from this company.
