Stylish, GUI is decent. Right after awhile you pretty a great deal have to reboot the device every day. Drops connections like plates. I use a Canon MP560 wireless printer and you have to reboot the router every single time you want to use the printer so that it will reconnect. The router is additional annoying than it is valuable. Attempt a thing else, you will be disappointed here. |

It connects.....excellent for net browsing, and that is about it. No concerns connecting to a laptop or my 2nd gen Ipod touch. WPA2 AES security. I just set this up for my friend's mother-in law and I watched the connection fluctuate from 6mbps to 72mbps with a brand new Sony Viao laptop. This happened when I was five feet from the router. No wireless phone interference, and only 1 other wireless network in the area, so I don't know what it's dilemma is. Soon after reading these reviews, it's almost certainly the router. You can do better else where or until open firmware can stabilize this router. |

None. Randomly drops connections. Linksys replaced it. Replacement suffered the very same difficulty. It is outrageous that Linksys would continue to sell a product with such across-the-board defects. I will by no means obtain an additional Linksys router again. |

Looks cool, tiny, light weight. It has four ports. This router drops off and reboots for no reason that I can even figure out. I have search the Linksys forums for a resolution to the dilemma and the only factor I identified was other people today with the similar dilemma and zero help from Linksys. This product has been discontinued from what I can tell too. That indicates no more support or firmware to make any attempts to support their customers. I purchased this router since I trusted Linksys and I was looking for a router with 'N' speeds for the two new netbooks in our residence that had been 'N' capable. This isn't even a fully compliant 'N' router and there were so numerous troubles with this router all I want is my income back. I just wish I had found all the complications within the 30 day return (purchased from nearby shop not Newegg.com - I wish I had purchased from Newegg.) I have to go back to my trusty WRT54G Linksys router. At least that 1 works consistently! Linksys requirements to fix the troubles with this router rather of just dumping it and screwing their shoppers. If you can't fix it - admit it and give us a refund or a credit towards a new, operating, model! |

Uncomplicated to set up - based on prior information of network setups. Quick, with considerably higher range than my last wireless router. Three computers and two mobile devices all connected at the identical time, no noticeable drop in performance. None identified so far. Setup is uncomplicated with appropriate information, much less so for newbies. |

Effortless to set upFairly great rangeBundled software program is pretty coolHas worked nicely for me due to the fact i bought itLooks cool I guess it's only a minor gripe but you have to pay to get full functionality of the bundled software program This was my very first wireless router obtain and I had heard that Linksys produced some pretty excellent stuff so I attempted it. This factor performs far better than a Belkin I have applied which necessary constant resetting and had poor range. I am usually able to get 2-3 bars from about 75ft away via five walls with this thing and the transfer rate doesn't suffer too significantly. I also run Xbox Live from it even though my girlfriend is watching videos on-line and there are no troubles there either. The included software program is actually fairly beneficial, it shows you what devices have connected to it, who is presently connected, what the status of almost everything is as nicely as all of the standard wireless router features and if you pay for the full version it enables some other helpful functions like file transfers in between people today that are connected. If you're concerned about having the ideal of the ideal for gaming you should probably go wired anyway, but if all you need to have is a quite stable multipurpose router, this is a excellent choice. |

Purchase this if you like to play with your gear! I have trouble sharing files from my Mac to PC network. In no way had troubles prior to w/ my prior Linksys G router(I read the MaxPC evaluation and realize this is hardly an "N" box!) |

this is a excellent wireless router, i mean its not going to carry out as well as a 赨 one but for this price it cant be beat! none really. yes its not true N but its superior than my old G router. u shouldnt expect accurate N for this low cost for those saying the setup is hard. use your brain! it takes all of five minutes to get operating. oh and i would advocate altering it to channel 11. the default is 6, altering it to 11 makes a massive distinction |

Straightforward setup. Pop the cd in and follow the screen instructions. Wired connection is fine.Wireless connection a diff story,.... it appears that the dhcp only gives out ip address for a restricted time ӭ day. There does not appear to be a setting for longer periods. An individual like my wife who is not tech savy -- does not appreciate this at all. Comes with a good network application (basic). If you want additional you have to acquire. I believe this is extortion.A message just popped up the other day asking me to install on other PC connecting to the network. This is a pain. |

Inexpensive. Soon after reading numerous scathing critiques, the original owner actually GAVE this device to me. Firmware upgrade a snap. Setting up WEP security through the Linksys utility was easy. The router does run hot to the touch. I have the router raised up a bit as the additional height is provided by four added rubber feet so that far more air can pass effortlessly underneath the unit for ventilation. Possibly heat is the cause of all the earlier negative critiques? The prior owner of my WRT120N reported Absolutely nothing but trouble with this router. I reset the device to factory defaults/original firmware Version 1..01 using the reset button. I had no dilemma downloading the bin file for the newest firmware from October of last year... 2009. Firmware Version 1..04. Upgrading using the Linksys firmware upgrade utility went simply. There are reports that this latest firmware doesn't support typical "N" router speeds. "G" speeds at finest. I've never measured the wireless speed following the firmware upgrade. I running for a week now with the new firmware. All 4 wired devices are connecting. My iPhone 4G would not connect working with the default wireless Auto Channel 6 setting. So I changed the broadcast channel to Channel 1 and the iPhone connects. I was truly prepared to slam this device with a one star assessment. However, so far I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Still, soon after all the poor critiques I'll not most likely be buying a different 1 of these. |

Low cost, comes with a lot of bundles. Not a complete "N" capable router. QoS don't work.Firmware is problematic. If you are seeking for a real router with capabilities like QoS, speed limiting, and so on. Go for other models. Also, this 2MB flash chip doesn't allow you to install open firmware like DD-WRT which supplies you with far greater functions.
