Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:
- None
Pros: - Dual band.- Good performance. Comment:
There are two different revisions of this product, each with the same model number but different features. The one I received was revision 2.I got this for use on older laptop computers that do no have an integrated wireless device, or do not have appropriate driver support for newer security methods like WPA2. It serves that purpose very well. As a USB device is also quite portable so I can easily move it around between various different computers that don't have wireless support and are in locations where it's inconvenient to use an ethernet cable. So far the connection has been solid. I have only used it for 4 days so far but during this time there have been no dropped connections. The speed is reported as 130Mbps.I have not used any other USB wireless adapaters before so I cannot offer comparisons to any competing products, but I have no complaints about this one. |

Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:
none
Pros: Great reception Comment:
Used this adapter on my HTPC. Signal had to pass through 3 wall - signal is still pretty strong. Hook up to my DLink DGL 4500 no problems at all. Set up took 15 min |

Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:
Poor range compared to pcie or pci slot wirelesss adapters.Despite having installed the drivers from the manufacturers website, win7 doesn't always recognize it. Sometimes I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work.
Pros: Extension cable is very nice.Sleek looking. Comment:
Seems like a good product despite the fact that it gets less signal strength than a conventional pci slot adapter. Wireless N data transfers are much quicker than G transfers. The extension cable is a nice feature. Not worth $60 though, wait for it to be on sale, or just grab a MUCH cheaper ASUS adapter that works just as well. |

Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:
Size
Pros: Speed, Linux Drivers, Dual Band Comment:
Using this usb adapter for a Ubuntu/XBMC HTPC with an Apple Airport Extreme N in access point mode doing only 5Ghz N with WPA2.Had to download the latest drivers from Ralink, but after a quick make && make install they work perfectly with Ubuntu 10.04. I haven't tested with any version of Windows but I would guess it works just as well.I get steady 10-11 *MB* per second rsync transfers which considering the ssh and wpa overheads is approximately fast ethernet speed.. which is fine by me. Range is good, even with the base station at the other end of the house and the adapter hidden away at the bottom of my AV cabinet. The USB cable/stand is handy but about the only reservation I would have with this adapter is the size is a little big for use with a laptop etc. However if you need a Linux capable dual band 802.11n adapter for a desktop then definitely PM one of these. |

Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:
You have to download the updated drivers from the Linksys website, because the drivers on the CD are buggy and messed up, but that's not too bad.
Pros: Fast and has a good signal strength. Comment:
After you update the drivers, it's one of the best USB Network Adapters out there. The extension cable stand really sets this apart from other adapters. |

Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:Can't get a solid connection using linksys software
Pros:Good connectivity, no drop outs, solid connection (when using Windows Wifi setup) Comment:
I bought this about 6 months ago hoping to improve upon my WiFi connectivity on my HTPC, I'm quite happy with the results. My signal strength (compared to the old G card) has improved from 2 bars to 4 and streaming video has definitely become a much more viable option. The one caveat from my experience is the linksys software provided with this device, it gave me nothing but troubles. Using the built in Windows zero config however works great and I haven't had issues since. Also I just recently got a WDTV Live for our other TV and tried this adapter out, it works great! We were streaming video from our Synology DS209 box within minutes of hooking this up to the WDTV. |

Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:none so far
Pros:Great signal strengthRock solid stability so far. Comment:
Picked this up with the WRT400N. No signal dropouts and about 4 times faster than my old wireless G setup (WRT54G). Went from ~6Mbps down to ~24Mbps down. Got version 2 of this, so it's no bigger than my old G adapter, and looks slightly different than the picture above. |

Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
Cons:- a bit bigger than others
Pros:- good singals- dual band Comment:
Use it for a week, no problems so far. Good singals and never break-down...!! The drawback is it's a bit bigger than my old one G adpoter... but since it's black... so can't really tell..^^ |
this is a good wireless adapter, works good by itself but if you want more range can also use the usb base and position the adapter higher on your desk to get better signal, it is a small usb adapter so it wont obstruct other usb slots on the back of your pc
