i may have a defective camera no color just black and white when used on the 9 volt battery clip the picture is washed out no sink in have to use the wall wort someone mentioned instructions hard to read mine didnt have any instructions but then again one doesnt need any instructions for this cam

I have had this camera for over two years, no problem works great but the night vision not so great. I have it hooked up to a portable DVD player, and use it as a front door monitor.

I bought two. They worked right out of the box. The quality is great for such a small unit. The picture is stable and the colors are true even in dim light. As others have noted, the camera no longer has an IR mode and the LEDs are just plastic inserts. In fact the camera is not even IR sensitive. But the fake LEDs still serve to deter thieves who will think it works in the dark. It also does not have a microphone. Nevertheless I still think this unit is a very good value for the money. One small gotcha... I have seen this with other gear using the same power connectors; the camera power connector center pin is slightly too small for the mate on the supply, so when perfectly aligned it may not make contact and the camera goes dead. To solve this I've had to bend or slightly deform the center pin in order to get it to make contact. Lastly, I must say I've used TigerDirect for many years and I have always found their sales people to be very courteous, helpful and well informed.

Can't rate it yet. I received the camera on a Friday afternoon. The printed instructions were so small you need a rabbit's eye sight to read them. I was able to figure it out except I had 1 technical question. Called the tech support and the guy that answered was of NO USE AT ALL. I asked the question, his reply was ''Well its 4:30 and I can't help you. Everybody is gone''. Why in the hell did he answer the phone? I think I could have gotten the same response from a monkey. I called back again on Monday and was transferred to 4 different people before I found someone that could answer my question. First call to tech support was a bad one. That alone tells a lot about the company or at least the employees that work for them. Am I glad I didnt buy a high dollar one. This was just basically a test to see if I could use this product and what kind of customer service I could get. Don't think I will deal with this company again. Will spend mpore money with a better company. BE WARE!!!!!!

Works great! simple to install, clear images, can connect it to computer or recording device (VCR/DVR) in a minute. battery time is low, 9V battery lasts approximately one day, but supplied power cord has decent length to reach most places. camera is so small its almost unnoticible even when not hidden, and the autofocus was a nice bonus. buying 5 more of these for my workplace today.

This camera worked for about 2 minutes before completely dying. Also the cord connected to it became very hot - seems like there are some safety issues with it. There were many typos in the instructions which made me think it was not a safe product at all. This camera went into the garbage five minutes after opening it. There is a reason this product is so cheap and there are no refunds on it!
