It does what is suppose to do. I ordered two of these and put them on top and bottom of my case. Pretty bright and light my case nicely.

the lights work great but i ordered 2 of them and one of the converter boxs failed the good thing is you can plug 2 lights in to one of the inverter boxs. worked out fine.

Moves very good to the sound, you can adjust the level of the mic as well. Love the bright blue.

Love these, mounted them side by side on top of my Antec Sonata Case, perfect fit. Gives off a really nice glow at night, and adds a nice touch to a glossy black computer case. Highly recommended, would buy again.

I highly suggest that you take the 2x12" kit instead, don't make the same mistake as me.Also if you don't want to be a non-original wanabe, I'd recommand you to stick a green cathode beside the blue.. side-by-side so it does a really nice relax aquarium "teal" color.

Got this to help illuminate a transformers casemod. very bright, but the sound activation module is kinda big and at higher sensitivity will be activated by the case fan.

I used this to give some nice look to a windpowed case it did the job perfectly and it is surprisely easy to install

These units are really bright but,they don't overwhelm with intensity.Just one sheds enough light to illuminate the insides of a full tower case.

easily installed, works nicely - quite bright. I don't use sound activation, so I can't comment on it. cable from PCI slot switch to transformer was a bit short and made it a bit harder to route my cables (I also have a BIG case [3D Aurora 570] and a video card with aftermarket heatsink to work around...)

great product, really improved the look of my antec 900, stock led fans werent doing that much, when sensitivity is high they still dont pick up the noise from my 5 120mm's, I bought 2 of these along with 2 12 inch cathods to take advantage of the 2 outputs per control box This review was modfied by poster @ 12-18-07 02:52 PM

I put this in my case and it brightened it up nicely.. I can turn it off at night when I got to sleep thanks to the pci slot switch. Great product, my sensitivity box works perfectly too.. 2 levels of brightness that flash u different levels of sound.

This cathode kit is very bright and is a great addition to a case with a window. It works very well and is very cheap for a 15in cathode light. Highly recommended

Excellent product. Very cheap and added a ton of light to my case. Also, it is a bit oversized which fit my needs perfectly. If you are looking for a cheap lighting mod, this is it. Furthermore, the shipping and service from NCIX was exceptional. Thanks guys!

This is a great product to light up my case. it makes my case look tons better. but the sound sensitivity isn't to good, because when it is too sensitive it is always on from the noise of the fan, (and the noise from the tude itself, which is far to high pitch for any human to hear, but rest assured there is sound.), and when the sensitivity is low enough, you have to be really loud (like banging and yelling or lots of bass) to make it go off. (my case is also very quiet, and there is still that problem.) but aside from the sound issue this is a good light.

I jsut buy this led one week ago, and it make some crazy light inside my case, but if you want a led to make some serious light for "lightning" all your case i suggest you to buy 2 led, because the control box can take 2 led at a time. I love this product except for one thing, the sound switch "control box" is so big...

This light was good enough for me, it lit the case and came with a neater looking control box than my other lights. A weak thing for this light, was that the sensitivity knob didn't work for me. If someone else has bought this and figured it out, tell me, because that's one of the main reasons why I bought this light.Other than that, it's a decent light that has good length and brightness.

the blue led invertor has sound activation function. attach it to the case body, feel the vibration and the lights will flash.

Picked this up on sale and it's a great value. If you have a clear side window and the interior of the case is a bit dark, this really brightens things up.
