Cons:I cannot say anything bad about this because have done and proved to me this is the ideal little camera to have if your doing any thing like SKYPES or recording a little video
Pros:very good camera its a lot better than the one I had before which was a life cam studio The Logitech does have a superb focusing I love this camera not a problem with it runs very well its the best little camera I found worked for me I would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality camera |

First off, the video quality is great and that is probably the most important aspect. I have heard that the microphone isn't great, but that is less of a concern. THE PROBLEM WITH THE SOFTWARE - my processor (4770k) has a feature where the clock speed drops when not needed, for some reason this affected the install of the software (not the drivers). A bit of tinkering and this was resolved, still a great product. |

Bought this to Skype with family and friends overseas, and it works very well for video quality, and interfaces with Xsplit and other software programs with no problem. Captured stills are decent but not as good as the video. The microphone is a bit weak, especially for a 3D microphone (2 mics built in). Still great though. |

I bought this to replace an order Logitech webcam as it was older and not didn't play well with Windows 8.1. This camera has fantastic optics and overall good autofocus although sometimes in low light it has a hard time getting it right. When I Skype with my mom she comments on how clear the picture is. The sound does sound a little muffled though - Logitech would have been better off getting one good microphone instead of going with two lower quality units. Overall, I am happy though so I am giving it 5 stars just because of the optics. |

This is the best webcam I have ever owned. Keep in mine it is not a professional teleconferencing camera, but as a home camera for chatting with friends it is great. People I talk to have commented on the clarity of the mic in Skype. The face tracker works pretty well, but unless you are walking around it is just a gimmick. I would buy another (on sale). |

The camera has great picture/video quality, it's size is compact, it manages light levels very effectively. The Auto Focus feature is one of the best I have ever seen; quickly adjusts to movement toward and away from the lens. It was also easy to set up and install.The biggest downside is the poor quality of the microphone, it has very limited range and distorts easily. One of the reasons I bought this camera was due to the stereo microphone it had. I am not impressed with the sound quality it captures. The only other problem with the camera is the software provided, it tends to crash often and the codec it records video in is sloppy quality.Overall if you are planning to skype with this camera, it will do you fine. |
