i've owned this set for a good 3-4 months now, so i can give a pretty thorough review of everything.aesthetically, this set looks the best out of all of Logitechs cordless combos IMO. the shape of both the keyboard and mouse, the colors, button placements... very nice.battery life on the keyboard is excellent... i'm still running on the included duracell batteries. the mouse lasts around 40 days and the it gets used anywhere from 9-12 hours (house of 3 people that use the computer often with company coming over who use it as well). i use the off button whenever its not in use for long periods of time.the range is excellent on this set... i've tested it as far as ~20ft away. however, the receiver is very picky and (albeit seldom) loses connection (more often with the mouse) forcing me to press the connect button again. receiver placement is key, and luckily it comes with a USB extension with a base. this set uses the older 27mhz wireless technology, not 2.4ghz (which i find more reliable). i do have a wireless router nearby, as well as a microwave and 2.4ghz cordless phone (dunno if these would interfere).overall, i'm happy with the set, but i would strongly suggest going with 2.4ghz wireless technology (or bluetooth), or better yet, sticking with a corded set whenever possible. i'm using this with an HTPC in the living, so cordless is a must. Got this keyboard last month. Its pretty small as I'm coming from a g15 that has another 24 keys + an lcd attached to it. Pretty good, I miss the wrist thing that attaches the keyboard bottom. Its a logitech, so what else could you ask for?
