Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 Keyboard & Optical Mouse Silver Black
Cons:-Sometimes doesn't connect in the BIOS
Pros:-Low Price-Sleek and stylish-Good range-Uses store bought batteries Comment:
I got this combo pretty cheap and I think the quality is beyond what I paid for. I bought a MX5000 combo for $150 bucks and I thought it was garbage. This is a much better buy. Had some trouble in the BIOS with connectivity but I hit the connect button and everything was working. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-03-08 08:45 PM |

Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 Keyboard & Optical Mouse Silver Black
Cons:Mouse is only adequate
Pros:Keyboard looks and feels great Comment:
Good range and an attractive look and feel for use with my HTPC. I like the wrist support on the keyboard though I am not sure if I would use this as my only keyboard.. For living room use it is ideal.I don't think there is a better option at this price point. The software for Windows works well enough but I use it with Linux most of the time. I even used this keyboard for a while with my Macbook. Almost everything works out of the box with Mac OS X (volume contorl works) so consider this if you want to match your black mac or if you feel paying more for the white "mac" version just doesn't seem wise. The mouse isn't wonderful but is functional. Not the most accurate device and feels lower quality than the keyboard. Keyboard is 5*, the mouse is 2* |

Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 Keyboard & Optical Mouse Silver Black
Cons:None
Pros:Looks, Functionality, Price, Useability Comment:
Not to be biased since this is the set that I own, I shopped around and looked for the most attractive set that I could find. This one appealed me to and the price was great. Knowing logitech, I knew that it would not be a bad product and it would perform to its specs. This set works great, has great battery life, response time, and range. It looks great and professional in any office environment. The buttons on the keyboard are stiffer than a laptop and lighter than an old conventional keyboard, a perfect match to the looks I believe. If I were to compare this set to any other set, even the most expensive gaming sets, I would still say that this keyboard and mouse set is the best of them all.The only thing that brought me down from being totally astonished was that the wireless dongle was the one on a wire which you set on top of your desk, rather than the usb key type. Other than that, this set is amazing, designed incredibly, and well worth 50$. |

Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 Keyboard & Optical Mouse Silver Black
Cons:Setpoint (logitech's Mouse / Keyboard software) could be more configurable.Must toggle function button to use programmable buttonsComes with crappy mouse... I use my MX518 instead
Pros:WirelessSleekWell thought out Function buttonsBattery life is decentMedia "shuffle" button Comment:
Great KB. Everything about the design is great. It doesn't slide around much, the functional buttons are good, but not fantastic. In order to use the programmable buttons, you have to turn the Function mode on... can be a hassle for those who commonly use such features. For the price it's really good. I'd buy it again. My only beef is that the included mouse is heavy and crappy. I'll stick with my MX518, albeit wired. |

Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 Keyboard & Optical Mouse Silver Black
Cons:- None
Pros:- Sleek Design- Strong Built- Cheap Comment:
Excellent package for the money. This is from far the best keyboard/mouse bundle I bought and it is fairly cheap. Never had any issue with it but unfortunately, I can't access the bios with a wireless keyboard. |
bought and returned 2 of these units, the range was horrible. could barely get 6 feet away from my computer. works great right beside the RF unit, but if anyone is wanting range, spend 50 bucks more and get a bluetooth keyboard.
