This is my second set of these. Initial set lasted about 2 years. The sound from these is fairly very good and the presets adjust it to suit your application. What i definitely like about these is they work with vent in windows , or mangler in ubuntu. I tried three other headsets after my 1st set failed just before obtaining these on newegg and none of them worked properly with each apps. My last set ended up with a broken wire inside the cord i feel. that produced the mic intermittent and then lastly didn't function at all unless i help the cord a certain way. From that i would say the cord is the only weak link in an otherwise really very good headset. I believe i'm going to order a couple spare sets for later use in case these get discontinued.

Let me start off saying this head set is not worth $50. A much better one can be found for $30. After a 30 minute session it becomes very uncomfortable on the top of the head, I found I had to keep adjusting it to be comfortable. The mic quality is half decent, it works if you are interested in any kind of chat, but if you are looking for a good quality mic that filters background noise and does not pick up every single breath you take, this is not it. Another thing is the sound quality is not very good. It is decent but not worth the price. It doesn't go loud at all, and the bass is nothing spectacular. Overall my experience was not very good, but it would work should you buy it or own one already. I however am going to purchase a new mic soon.
