Works as advertised and has excellent sensitivity (I can point the remote in any direction and it gets the signal from wall bounces). Unlike some other ps3 remote solutions this one turns the ps3 on and off as well. If you haven't re-programmed your harmony remote in a long time (i.e. since before this adapter was released) you will need to delete  the existing PS3 from your profile and re-add it so this will work.

The price for this seems a bit steep, but when you consider your other options, it is a fair price. The cheap setup is only 15 or so but cannot turn the ps 3 on or off. It also doesn't look very integrated. This is probably the simplest av item that I have ever installed. You just go into the ps 3 menu and select blu ray device (in the instructions) and press a button on the adapter and it works. Now you can control every function of the ps 3 with your harmon y remote. You also have to add the adapter to your remote profile on your computer. I was really expecting a lot more steps to get the adapter to work.

Pros: works just as described setup is very easy turns the PS3 on and off controls are responsive Cons: no way to update firmware through the adapter expensive Overall this adapter is the best IR-BT adapter for the PS3. I love being able to use my Harmony remote to control the Blu-ray playback on my PS3.
