Easiest Connection & Best Survelence System
Comment:
I tried another brand that offered sound and night vision but they created interferrance with my wireless router and had to use a VCR to record video. This one uses your hard drive and you set how much space it is allowed and it deletes oldest vidio and replaces it with new recordings. In 15 minutes you can have it up and running! I use three and coverage is remarkable. One is in a window and views my driveway and vehicles. I am impressed with the software and the video. I don't see any of the reported problems and I'm running Vista HP 64bit. I'm happy with my purchase! |

Nice features; poor connection; customer service
Comment:
Was in love with the endless possibilities and features on this camera. After trying on a computer running XP and a labtop with VSTA, camera still not recgonized. Their customer service was clueless. I was then told that an engineer would read my error report and call me within 2 days. Guess what. After over a week of no callbacks or response to emails, I took it back for an exchange of their competetitor Q-See. Now I'm happy as a clam and will never buy from LT again. |

Does What It Was Designed To Do
Comment:
There was a software conflict with something previously installed on my computer. I ended up restoring my 2-year-old computer to its initial state, and then the security suite ran perfectly. I recommend downloading the latest software version from LogiTech. Camera picture quality isn't outstanding, but adequate. After any power failure the system can be set to reboot automatically, a feature I really like. All-in-all it gives me a feeling of security knowing that I can access my home camera from any remote Internet location. |

set up
Comment:
i was in awe of how simple this system was to set up. you do need a computer and router for it. after that, just follow the instructions on the quickstart set up guide. if you are placing the indoor cameras so that you can view outside at night, you will probably need the additional accessories for night vision. i have the original camera and an add-on. there may be some problems with where you place the USB receiver module vs. where you place the cameras. you will need to adjust accordingly. |

Worst Cam i saw!
Comment:
The wireless stuff doesnt even go more far than 15 feet...the software have to be registered to have good feature so more $$$ again...dont buy that! |
It seemed to be interesting features. It only worked when the camera was connected on the same outlet as the receiver. Quality of the video was ok when it worked. The system was a bit slow (30 seconds delay) but I could see the video from the internet as it says.
