Cons:
Extremely expensive for what you get. Not sure why the price is so high.Though not all the time, the mouse can get slightly 'jerky' while tracking, despite the claims it can track perfectly on virtually any surface.
Pros: Very sleak and easy to handle.Looks great.Ability to track the mouse on virtually any surface.Ability to use multiple Logitech devices from a single USB receiever.Reciever is extremely small and will definitely be out of the way from sticking out of USB ports, especially on Laptops. Comment:
My brother bought one of these for his new laptop at Best buy and was quite pleased with it. My dad also liked it so I picked him up on here on NCIX for fathers day. For the most part he likes it, though says it can can get quite jerky from time to time while using it. We have installed the latest 64 bit Setpoint software to try and rememdy it as well as change the USB receiever location. Seems to fair a little better from these changes. A nice mouse but definitely expensive. |
It's hard these days for me to find a good mouse, that's both comfortable and performs properly without it being annoying in some way. I gave the MX a spin at work already and it was excellent. Working in advertising design means i need a comfortable mouse to use for 8-10 hours without my wrist being sore, this mouse comes close to my dream mouse 9/10. We work with MacPros at work and the MX works perfect when plugged into MacOSX Leopard, no drivers needed for regular operation (but recommended obviously)at home on Win7 its in its territory. I also needed a mouse that i could use with both hands, as i'm ambidextrous. Why is it, that manufacturers don't make mice in a variety of sizes? What ever happened to the micro mice?I wish that Logitech and others would make mice in Small, medium and large formats. After all have you ever seen a 7 years old trying to use one of those gigantic gaming mice that are sold these days? its quite sad.Great things about this mouse: the on/off swith underneath also serves as dust protection for the laser. The spin wheel is super loose but becomes ratchety when pressed to a click. LED lights up green for a bit telling u the batteries are ok, it takes 2 AA bateries (yeah!) which also serve as weights, making it feel meaty. The protective carry baggie/ziper pouch is high quality and cute. And finally the wireless usb plug in thingy, is tiny, so no big dumb stuff sticking out of u system anywhere. Works on almost any surface & works on a MacOS without drivers installation. :)A little on the expensive side, but what mice are cheep these days? Have u seen the prices lately? EEEEK!!!Highly recommend the MX anywhere!
