Logitech TrackMan Marble Wired Optical Trackball
Cons:None

Pros:Smooth, accurate scrollingUses way less workspaceEasy to keep clean
Comment:
I finally gave in to my curiosity and purchased one of these when my 9y.o. Logitech "normal" mouse gave out. Gotta admit, I hated this thing at first, but now I can't ever see myself going back. It's got that nice, solid feel of older mice, yet is miles more accurate than the other stuff out there today. Gaming with it is just great, and it managed to make this long-time FPS player feel a new intensity in matches. The four buttons are easy to find while not looking, and the overall shape of the mouse fits perfectly with your hand. I used to always have wrist pain when using a normal mouse, but haven't since switching. The ball always rolls smooth, even with all the dry heat this summer. Never once have I had problems with the arrow wandering all over the screen, and the dust it gets coated with from the construction site across the street has not bothered it in the least.

Logitech TrackMan Marble Wired Optical Trackball
Cons: Takes a little getting used to

Pros: Ergonomic, durable, small footprint.
Comment:
We've used a number of these throughout our offices and plant floor and they've performed very well, even in dusty & greasy environments. They are perfect for machinery applications where you don't have room for the movement of a mouse. They're also nice to work with in the office once you get over the adjustment of using a different style of pointing device.

Logitech TrackMan Marble Wired Optical Trackball
Cons:-Not as precise as wired infrared mice.

Pros:-Usable in the air-Price-Comfortable
Comment:
Good, high quality trackball mouse. It's pretty comfortable.Don't buy it in expecting a great gaming mouse. I rather like being able to use it away from a desk, such as when giving a presentation. It beats a laser pointer because it can click on stuff.

Logitech TrackMan Marble Wired Optical Trackball
Cons:Lower scores in Solitaire, compared to a mouse. Stinks big time in Diablo. No scroll wheel. That's inconvenient in Windows 7 Media Center.

Pros:Very reliable. Still working after years.Convenient if you don't have room for a mouse.Helps with some repetitive stress injuries.Worked just fine with Windows 7 64-bit and Vista 32-bit and XP and Fedora and Redhat.
Comment:
Excellent product, unless you're a gamer. Comfortable enough. Too bad that it's impossible to play games properly on it. However, that's easy to fix by adding a regular mouse.
