I originally bought these speakers to use with a music keyboard. I had previously bought the Logitech Z-2300 speaker combo with an excellent Bass woofer. The only trouble is they are too heavy to lug around for an arthritic old guy like me. I thought that I could get away with this smaller set, and still produce respectable sounds for the size rooms I would play in. I just play for the odd impromptu party, or for old folks. The bottom line is; they work great for computer use, (if you don't have to have a killer bass) and they do a very commendable job with the keyboard, but (1) don't expect a strong bass response, and (2) be very careful not to overdrive them. Too much heavy handedness with the main, (keyboard volume) control and they are soon distorting. Used within their proper range, and in smaller rooms, with no abuse, they are excellent value for the money.

I only buy the best in their classes. These speakers are incredible and are the best two-speaker setup you can buy. They sound incredible. I'm not even using a high end sound card; just the on board sound from a motherboard. If you have the extra money; get them. You get what you pay for. A plus product. Would buy again in a second.
