I bought these to replace a pair of cheap tinny speakers on my work computer and am very satisfied. The AV30s do great for a pair of compact speakers. They are clean and smooth throughout their range with clear highs and tight robust lows. They have a low frequency switch to boost the bass when the volume is down very low. They have enough clear power for decent conference room presentations, and they are killer desktop speakers while still looking dignified in an office setting.

Excellent as PC stereo speakers, fairly flat, adequate amplification, reasonable footprint. For home studio music production, the golden eared perfectionist should look elsewhere, but for the price they deliver as advertised.

The first pair I got had a vibration during midrange bass. this company was AMAZING about getting me a replacement set quickly. The second set is perfect. These little speakers are amazing. Great range of sound. Good price. They really kick if you let them. Highs are sharp. Lows are deep but never rattle. Highly recommend these

I used a Asus N10J notebook with 5.1 for the test. Steely Dan Black Cow, Flac 775 KBPS, 44 KHZ, on Winamp at 80% Volume. Wow! Southern Rock, Opera, Clasical, Pop and Aol Radio all sound good. Great for small rooms 15x15 or less. The M-AUDIO BX8a Deluxe will be my next set.
