Put this on an AMD 3800+ to replace an old heatsink. Works very well as intended. Quiet, does the job, easy install, and reasonably priced.

better than you think it is!!!
Comment:
i'm running 1 with an amd 5400 dual core running @ 3ghz! idle run temps of 96F under 100% full load 120F. I compared this to a 3.2ghz. rated copper core by the same company and the cheaper aluminum wins hands down. I did do a slight mod to it and put on a thicker fan over the thin stock and running 4,000 rpms!!!

Good price for the size
Comment:
I like the size of the heatsink and the size of the fan. It does need a fan screen to protest your fingers and cables that might get into the blades, I had one from a old P/S and solved the problem and the gold color made it look nice. All in all a fair price for the Masscool. Frank
