product - not so good
Comment:
Received new fan the very next day after placing my order, was very impressed. The fan installed easily (hint: lay your tower on its side). CPU temp is 11 degrees C. cooler with this fan. BUT, it is 2 - 3 times noisier than the old fan that had a bad bearing in it. I am concerned that the higher noise level translates into greater vibration level on my motherboard so I will be looking for a quieter fan. |

Poorly Designed
Comment:
Poorly designed. The base does not clear the cpu socket, therefor it will not make good contact with the top of the cpu. Unusable on my motherboard (M2N-E). |

Good Value
Comment:
Used to replace bad fan on xp2100 cpu. Works like a charm and fairly quiet. Could not find a fan in local stores so if you have any old computers you might need to stock up on some of these. The price and performance are just right. |

nice fan
Comment:
Advantage; - With program " Speedfan " it turn between 4950 and 5000 RPM. - The price is very nice, if you have an old computer like me " XP 1800 + " it's a good idea the time you'll buy a big one. - You don't have to buy grease for processor, at back of this product you have already it. Just insert it egal, press a good pression down and clips after. Start you computer 15 minutes, shut it down for 1 hours, do it again 3 times. After it enjoy! In 4 or 5 days, if you did a great job, your grease will do the full capacity. ------------------------------------------------- Disavantage; I though the fan was stronger, it a little better stronger. But for now he's doing the job. ------------------------------------------------- 25 Degrees Celcius ( very good degrees ) ------------------Conclusion--------------------- If you want good performance at cheap price, don't lose your time and buy it! He's very quiet and fast. Ideal for an old computer before buy a big compute |

Solved my problem.
Comment:
This inexpensive product works much better and is quieter than the previous one I used. The other cooling fan was so loud I used to need to turn the computer off because of the fan noise. I'm happy with my purchase. |

Great Price! Many retailers I checked carry only more expensive models. Good performance. Satisfied with purchase. CompUSA online is great place to purchase computer needs. |

Replaced my original CPU fan after it conked out. This runs quiet enough and keeps the CPU nice and cool. Had a heck of a time getting it fastened to the mobo though, but all in all, for about $13.50 (after tax) this was a good buy. |

Mediocre performance. The CPU actually runs about 10d F hotter with this cooler than with the OEM AMD cooler that shipped with the CPU. Would work in a pinch. |

Comment:
Have one hooked up to a Sempron 2200 in a micro atx tower with cpu funnel. It makes less noise than the fan on the Duron 750 this processor/fan replaced. Surprisingly it is a smaller heat sink than came on my very old Duron 750, but it does the job just fine. I like the fact that the thermal grease is pre applied. The latch mechanism is really easy to get on and off, very nice feature. |

Excellent cooling product. Dropped the temp on a duron 900mhz from an avg. of 41-43c to 31-32 c. This with one case fan. Also a quiet product. Well pleased with this purchase. |

A bit noisy from the black stock ones but it works...on the meter it keeps the cpu at average 79 degrees. I am satisfy with it its big bulky and cools |
At first, it did not work very well. After I applied my own grease it was fine.
