Cons:-Being mATX, only has one PCI slot, one PCIx16, and one PCIx4, so not much you can plug in.-Pigeon English quick start guide printed on toilet paper
Pros:-Inexpensive board that works well.-AMD Radeon 3000 built in-Accepts DDR3 memory modules-Sharp black PCB Comment:
Great board for budget builds. Popped in an AMD Phenom II X3 B73 and 8GB of DDR3 1333mhz RAM, excellent. |

MSI 760GM-P23 mATX AMD 760G AM3+ DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI DVI VGA SATA2 USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:None really
Pros:Cheap, DVI output, Supports the new FX processors Comment:
I've bought a few of these for budget AMD builds now. They have all worked great right out of the box, and done exactly what they were meant to. These aren't high-end boards, so you can't expect too many memory slots, digital audio outputs and things like that. Will be buying more of these in the future I'm sure. |

MSI 760GM-P23 mATX AMD 760G AM3+ DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI DVI VGA SATA2 USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:Possibly a lot of electrical noise? That or my PSU. Maybe more cramped than other mATX boards.
Pros:Great for the price. No actual, significant problems. Comment:
A great little board. Bought it for a fileserver, and my only complaints are for other parts of the server (a WD Green drive is a little slow for a boot drive, even if it helps with storage and keeps costs down). The server's also noisier than I like, even with no fans on it and an open case--not even a CPU fan--but I think it's the PSU and not the board that's making the noticeable electrical whine. A note if you have a Scythe Big Shuriken: the CPU mount on this board is possibly closer to the top of the board than it is on other boards, and you will have a harder time putting the CPU and cooler in with everything else in place. I had to take the PSU out to even reach the little clips. It will also very much overhang both of the RAM slots, when on another board, I had four slots with the ganged pairs spread out so the third stick was well away from the Big Shuriken, and even after that I could still manage to wiggle out the first stick from under the cooler. On this board, there is no hope of changing the RAM without taking off the cooler. Still, though. Cheap. Works. Buy it! |
Bought it for a cheap server, stuck it in a norco 230 with a athlon x3 and 8gb of ram, works great.I wish it had a internal header for the NIC led's but i know those are rare on consumer level boards.
