Good layout. USB BIOS flashing. No chipset fan (they are loud). Only 6 chasis mounts. Proper side is not mounted on chasis at all. This is a good board. I use it with an Athlon X2 240, and two x 1GB DDR2 800. 350W PSU. Runs best. |

Nice layout, front connecters usb all on bottom of board.Fired right up,unlocked my x2 550 to quad rapidly and easy. ram slots are genuinely close to cpu my ac freezer covers very first 2 ram slots, many non stock coolers are going to have trouble with this board.Program fans could be situated much better. reducing the width of the board gives greater access to sata ports but covering up 2 ram slots isnt a good concept,I normally add only one stick to first boot up board.that was not an selection here,it worked but could be an concern for some.Like i stated excellent layout of the board just be aware of ram slot concern |

- Supports AM3 processors (unlike my old motherboard)- supports DDR2 (since I have 3gb ddr2 already)- install was straightforward- lot nicer color scheme than my old board- tons of overclocking features (again, as opposed to my old board) - no DDR3, but I knew that going in. I admit I picked this up elsewhere for ๓, but even isn't too bad thinking about how outdated my old board was.Just installed this, and it's running terrific. Went a lot smoother than I expected. A large upgrade from my old Gigabyte ga-m55sli-s4 board. It had barely any oc attributes. Also, my Thermaltake Massive Typhoon applied to take up a memory slot on the old board, but not on this one. Right after I choose up a quad core, I'm going to add yet another gig of ram. |

I've had a couple of previous posts on this board. The last 1 was on 2ቬ and I was not happy immediately after the board failed. MSI sent me a replacement board with no questions asked. I sent the poor board back and the new one arrived precisely two weeks later. They've produced me a pleased consumer. Fair is fair...they deserve this five egg rating just for taking care of the difficulty so speedily. None This is a great board for the income. |

The price is nice, they budget board to go with, for the cost you can't go wrong with this board, the built in energy button and reset button along with the Cmos reset button, they come in handy and OC switches, I haven't tried them but if they do as they say they do, that's a good pro, Also I pretty considerably didn't have to have to format my HD, it booted to vista with out any concern, aside from needing to install drivers, though I didn't mainly because its greater to do a clean install of OS when you upgrade your CPU or Mobo, each and every factor on the board is placed in a great spot and was simple to install every single factor I required to. The manual, able to realize but they could have accomplished better, the USB ports and network port was a bit still but worked fine, also the CPU slot is very close to the ram slots so if you have a CPU cooler with a wide foot, you may possibly run into some issues. But non of these tiny cons ought to deter you from receiving this board. I put a AMD Phenom II X4 945 Deneb 3.0GHz in this board and it booted fine, no issues what so ever and each thing runs an acceptable temps you seriously can't go wrong with this board. |

Lots of superior capabilities, but I never have been able to use any of them so far Trigger all sorts of semi-random BSODs in Win7 working with the shipped BIOS. Flashing to the latest BIOS prevented further BIOS flashes. The most recent BIOS would not allow Win7 to be reinstalled at all due to BSODs. Have RMA'd it to Newegg. This is the initial mobo out of about two dozen I've gotten from Newegg that was poor from the factory. I purchase only stuff that have quite good user reviews. |

1. Solid capacitors 2. Incredibly very good component placement 3. Supports Phenom II x6 processors with BIOs updatefour. Straightforward USB BIOs flash five. Onboard Video card Here's the challenge. The included Realtek Ethernet drivers on disk function perfectly but every new version of the Ethernet driver I have attempted stalls my connection following a whilst. The only way to right this is to go into Device Manger and disable and re-allow the device each and every time it occurs. Be mindful of this and maintain the original driver installed as Windows Update will install the most recent driver upon a clean install and ask you to install newer drivers henceforth. Aside from the challenge I've mentioned this board has been a quite great performer.Speedy SpecsProcessor: AMD Athlon x3 445 RanaMemory: 4x 2GB PQI PC2-6400GPU: AMD Radeon HD 4550OS: Windows 7 x64 ExpertHDD: Ƒ) 250GB WD, ƒ) 2TB WD/SamCase: Cooler Master CM 690 II SimpleWorld wide web: Fiber |
