Have built a lot of systems more than past 15 years. This was the most entertaining. This board really sets a high common. I anticipate it to last 5 to 6 years. Set up was a little tricky but nothing too hard to manage. Excellent gaming system. None that are the board or MSI's performing. Pretty much everything actually, looks incredible, runs wonderful, etc. The first PCI-E x16 is too close to the memory to fit a graphics card. It would have been nice if it was switched with the 1.. I don't know if there are technical or performance factors they did that, but it makes each slots type of useless.Also newegg lists 5 PCI-E x16, and really there are 2, and again the initial cant really be utilized by the GPU. The rest are x8/x4 with a x16 snap-in. It does say it in parenthases in the specs.
