Comment:
at initially i was a little skiddish of receiving a micro board, but a friend kept telling me that this was a great one and he's been constructing for years. I've just started playign with all the utilities, but taking into consideration what I was playing with just before, and what i have now, i adore this board. Quickly shipping, no difficulties at all none i'd preserve it in mind.

MSI 890GXM-G65 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Comment:
Nice layout, USB three., lots of SATA ports. Even though it worked it was great. Soon after a couple weeks, one of my tough drives would not mount on boot due to errors. I thought the drive was going bad, so I removed the drive and copied backup files to yet another drive. Now this drive is having the identical problems. I ran memtest overnight, no errors. Tested the PSU on yet another machine, no problems. Only have 1 video card, no overclocking accomplished, and 8GB of ram, so the 750W PSU is not overloaded. This was portion of a fresh develop, so there were mostly new parts. I've had RAM problems in the past, as well as PSU issues, which is why I tested these 1st. The two tough drives are only a year or two old from the previous construct and by no means had any issues, so for both to fail at the identical time is not likely. Conclusion: bad board. I'm going back to Gigabyte. I would remain away from MSI. I also purchased a budget video card for my brothers computer that has given him absolutely nothing but complications. Like a person else said, MSI is going downhill. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued MSI Customer,We would like to apologize for the issue you have skilled with this certain mb. MSI 890GXM-G65 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: none really, there are cheaper AM3 boards but this one I feel is a good value if on sale and after MIR

Pros: loaded with features for a mATX, 6gb/s SATA, USB 3.0, crossfireX
Comment:
I bought this board because I wanted to build a mATX system. I knew my choices is already reduced due to the smaller form factor but this board had all the features I wanted and some extras such USB 3.0 and 8x/8x Crossfire which I don't currently use but may need in the future. I decided for this mobo over the ASUS Maximums Gene III because it is cheaper, especially when you factor in the value of an (unlockable) AMD CPU. I don't use the integrated graphics for this chipset so I cannot comment on that.

MSI 890GXM-G65 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: Nothing about this board has bothered me yet.

Pros: Exactly as presented. Good documentation, well packaged, great arrangement of headers and ports.
Comment:
The 890GXM-G65 went in as expected, and has performed well right out of the box. I haven't updated BIOS or drivers and no issues. My first go with an AMD system (Phenom II x6 1055t). It just works. Strong recommendation - two thumbs up.

Comment:
A great micro ATX board and works with AMD's 6 core processor out of the box. CrossfireX capable and lots of memory slots.

MSI 890GXM-G65 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: None

Pros: Well constructed, onboard video memory, HDMI port onboard
Comment:
I've always liked MSI boards and this one does not disappoint. I was looking for a 890-based board and there were not too many around but this one works just fine for my needs. I also like the fact that it has onboard HDMI port. A great value all around.

MSI 890GXM-G65 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: None so far

Pros: Newest, fastest AMD chipset, nice slot layout, 4 onboard USB headers.
Comment:
This is the best AMD board I've bought in a while. I like the layout and placement of components, heatsinks and features. It also seems to be more stable as a HTPC platform then the 785G boards I used previously.
