I bought this for my ultra book. $19.99 is good an cheap, just plugged it in and it worked fine like most USB stuff. It's nice that it's USB powered too, less cords running all over the place. Currently have it connected to a Notebook dock at my desk. I don't need an optical drive often, but I still have some old software that needs it. |
Worked perfectly for installing OS on a new build that wouldn't boot from a flash drive. Works with my macbook air with no issue. Cable is a little short, not quite on the ground when is use with my desktop.
