It was good enough for the longest time but new updates and the fact that windows xp will be losing support in April 2014 made me decide to upgrade at least to the lga775 since I had enough old parts so this motherboard enabled me to bump her OS to Windows 7. She is happy to have such a "fast" computer, lol.
David_D@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 04/07/13	MSI G41M-P33 Combo mATX LGA775 G41 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-1 1PCI VGA SATA2 USB2.0 Motherboard Cons:-Very simple BIOS, lack of configuration(no fan control,no AHCI,overclocking options really limited)-Connectors are in weird locations-No HDMI and only 100mbit Network Pros:+Support LGA775 CPU and DDR2+Cheap replacement Comment: Buyed this board because the equivalent Gigabyte one was out of stock. The only advantage with this one is it support DDR2 and I don't need to buy DDR3 for the board replacement.The installation was easy, exept I had to rewire the whole front panel cables because the connectors are far on the motherboard, not in the usual standard corner. The CPU 4-pin connector is in the middle of the mother board too, so forget about nice cabling management.Once it run, you will try to adjust the fans running at fullspeed but there's no option in the bios other than watching the speed. IDE mode only in the bios, not a great board for a NAS.Other than that it do the job it's supposed to do, supported my Q6600 and my 4gb DDR2 without problem.Would buy a another Gigabyte instead, better quality.
