This laptop (my desktop replacement) is seriously fast with the i7-2630QM, 16GB ram, 2x500GB raid 0 and GTX 580. This will satisfy any gamer and for many entertainment purposes. If you are a serious video editor, don't get this, get the upgraded CPU model of this laptop for better video encoding. Physically, the screen is awesome and the outside case is very appealing... almost disguising it as a gaming computer. I like the nice full US keyboard but personally have trouble with the space bar which requires you to position your thumbs either to the left or right, you cannot press directly center. I am also waiting for the nvidia drivers to be update d for the mobile "M" version of the GTX 570M, they update much slower for the notebook drivers. It is expensive for a laptop but I got this at the open box clearance sale for $899.99. But I think it is worth every penny even at full price.
