I ordered this laptop within days of availability online, and even with having to wait around a month to receive it (backordered magically) it was worth waiting for that long! Love the A10, it can handle alot of load just on its own, (accidentally installed a beta driver for the 7970 causing it to not be working while I dual ran wow for DAYS on ultra settings - performance still awesome, 35fps, with minor graphics issues). Put in a vertex4 256gb ssd for my OS and BAM the sexiest little laptop I've had yet! Travels wonderfully as well. Love the extra airflow fan button, does the trick when running multiple games. Not a huge fan of the steelseries keyboard but it does its job.Getting inside it is rather annoying, after being spoiled by asus and gateway with their ease of access panels.The cd key itself was NOT on a sticker this time, they decided to hide it so when you go to reinstall win8 youre arguing with it for an hour trying to get it to cough up its own key. A few cosmetic features msi bragged about (backlit keyboard etc) on their website were NOT included in this version.Shipped with win7 drivers, causing multiple blue screens and annoyances while manually fixing everything. Good news is once you find your little fixes for its drivers you shouldnt have a single issue.Overall I gave this laptop a 5 star because hey, its $1200, runs wonderfully once you break her in, and will probably keep up with what you need for a couple years.

So when buying this I knew that I was buying a low end gaming rig, for the price you can;t go in expecting a high end unit. However I am currently surprised. After changing an option in the bios I was finally able to get the A10 to 2.3 and turbo up to 3.2. From factory it is only set to run 1.6 to 2.3ghz!! I have a computer at home with AMD 1045T OC to 3.6ghz with 8 gig ram and a 6770 ASUS video card. This laptop after a few tweeks gets better FPS at higher resolutions then that home computer. So overall concidering it's price it has made me happy. Other then the dead pixel. So I got the 2 year extended warranty thinking that the $170 also covered the dead pixel but it did not. my fault, but I did not get the express shipping with dead pixel and delivery thing because I picked it up at the langely store and didn't think it was worth it. Wish I had, not that one dead pixel is very noticeable, but just knowing it's there bugs me. Overall a great purchase, would recommend this over any intel with a 650m, 660m, or even a 675m. you would have to go to a I7 with a 680m to compete with this laptop. minus 1 star for dead pixel, my fault for not getting the extra insurance. Keep in mind what you are paying for this laptop and you'll be very happy with what you get. For those on W.O.T, I play at Improved, High, AA med settings and get 45 FPS. On Improved, Med, no AA I get 65 to 70 FPS. Took 2 days but I got win 8 to act the way I want to, short learning curve.

Bought this laptop because i wanted an affordable gaming laptop.I don't regret my purchase at all, even with the amd processor it runs EVERY game at high+ settings at 1080P without any problems.Battery lasts 4- hours when doing some surfing and stuff.Keyboard is very comfortable speaker are LOUD and has some surround feel to them. laptop runs very cool and quiet except when you turn turbo cooling on. i recommend it to everyone
