Cons:its exceptionally large, with this and my massive heatsink i couldn't think about going SLI and still have a soundcard.
Pros:Very satisfied with the overall out of box performance of this card. Didn't need a lot of tweaking at all, and the MSI Afterburner program makes it really easy to overclock. Comment:
Very good card, Handles Battlefield 3 on Ultra max graphics with x16AA doesn't dip below 45 FPS in the heaviest of situations, and i haven't even overclocked it yet. (im running a 26'' 1080p single monitor setup)I would highly recommend this to any gamer who doesn't mind spending a little more than a regular gtx580, It might be card that will make you rethink going SLI, because this can handle it all. |

Cons:-Fans are too big, with the slot underneath it kept catching while spinning an eventually broke a fan blade.
Pros:-Fast-Runs very cool on stock air-Overclocks easily Comment:
Top of the line card that will handle anything you throw at it. It will keep cool with stock fans an is built to last, while also future proof for a while. |

Pros:wow, Can't beleave how cool this card runs under load, I switched from another great GPU 3gb Company ( They ran hot all the time), Glad I did, This MSI GTX 580 Lightning XE is fast out of the box, Even on air this is one Over clocking beast. Comment:

I have two of these bad boys in SLI in my LGA2011 rig. They will even run Metro2033 at 60fps at 2560X1600 resolution!!! What a beast these are... who needs water cooling when these will rock everything at max settings out-of-the-box, and if you want more you can easily OC them with AfterBurner. Beautifully smooth for BF3 running on three screens with 8 million pixels! Too bad these are now end of life but stock seems to trickle in every once in awhile and there are soom tools selling these used... what loser would do that?
