Cons:DOA - the very first one I have ever had, out of at least 30 system builds.
Pros:Cheap - but that does not excuse a DOA board Comment:
I usually buy Asus but I wanted to do a very cheap build so went for the lower priced MSI. Big mistake. The board never booted - all other items i.e. memory, power supply, video card and even the CPU were "proven" by swapping with a running system before concluding the board was DOA.I recently also built a system with a Gigabyte mother board and had no problems with it.Guess who won't be buying any more items from MSI. I felt I should pass along my experience to fellow system builders. You have been warned. |
We use these boards for all of our business builds, have only had to ship one out of maybe 20 back under RMA. Exactly what you expect for a sub $70 board.
